Hmm. Upon further consideration, the bus is looking like a better option after all.

Bus isn't *that* bad.

I've taken Greyhound from Calgary to Sudbury, Ontario twice (just short of 2 days in each direction).

If nothing else it gives you time to catch up on your reading/portable video gaming.

With any luck I'll mostly be busing through the night, so I can get some sleeping/drinking done. Though I'll be sure to bring a book for four.

look for seat sales- you can do a roundtrip for about $300. Assuming you work 8 hours a day and $10/hours, 2 lost days (there and back) it'll cost you $135 in net pay.
Plus the bus is stinky.

I was looking for seat sales. Best deal I could find was more then $400.
Plus I did some figuring with the bus, and I won't be gone for any longer then planned. Considering the bus costs just over $100, I think I can manage the long ride.
With booze.
